Austin Common Ground Relief is seeking volunteers interested in contributing towards a relief effort to the survivors of the October 31, 2013 floods in the Onion Creek & Dove Springs areas in Austin, Texas. Common Ground Relief is looking for volunteers to help cook at Roots EcoVillage at 1708 Fortview Rd, as well as other volunteers to assist with distributing food, filling out intake forms from flood victims, and drivers to help with various tasks. So far the Austin Common Ground Relief effort has been feeding evening meals, distributing blankets, space heaters and bilingual safety instruction to those displaced by the flood.
